Dutch Courage: Samsung To Hold March Press Event In Amsterdam

Samsung has let slip that it’ll be holding a separate event in Amsterdam on 15 March, quelling the disappointment stemming from the recent announcement announcing that it’ll not be announcing anything at Mobile World Congress. Still with us? Right, we’ll continue.

You see, a leaked invitation confirms the date and location for next month’s event has surfaced on the web, and although it doesn’t mention specifics, does contain the words “Samsung Line-up 2012”. Hmm.

Of course, this snippet of info has led to muchos speculation suggesting that the fabled Galaxy S III could be unveiled, especially since Sammy made such a song and dance about the thing NOT being on the cards for MWC.

The press conference could also provide the ideal opportunity to push some of the mid-range efforts Samsung have been preparing for release in 2012. Maybe they have something decidedly snazzy up their sleeves?
